Finished products, unusual commissions and large-format builds. Each project highlights a different material, technique or way a custom idea can be turned into a physical prop.
A detailed multi-part build combining metallic colours, decorative chain work, removable display cartridges and a bright illuminated centre. The finished project became the basis for the configurable version now available in the shop.
A substantial multi-part cosplay build finished in black, metallic gold and a contrasting centre band. The layered detailing and sweeping shapes turn a large printed assembly into a finished costume and display piece.
A large fantasy sword built to keep several strongly contrasting colours crisp and separate, with no colour bleeding between the red, dark and metallic sections. The detailed organic surfaces were assembled and finished to keep the prop smooth to the touch without losing the sharp sculpted look of the design.
What it shows: clean multicolour printing, detailed surface work and large multi-part assembly.
A made-to-request cosplay piece using transparent plastic to create a glass-like blade while keeping the finished prop lightweight and wearable. Clear material, coloured edges and custom geometry were combined around the cosplayer's requested design rather than adapting an existing shop product.
What it shows: transparent materials, one-off custom requests and purpose-built cosplay pieces.
Mega builds
Some projects need a different approach altogether: large sections, structural planning and a lot more printer volume.
One of the largest props built at DisguisedTech. The oversized launcher was divided into large printable structural sections and assembled into a full-scale cosplay piece. The project is less about a single clever print and more about planning an object that is far larger than the printer itself.
What it shows: oversized prop production, multipart engineering, structural assembly and handling very large custom commissions.
